Greek Immigrant Peter Atcas Came To the United States in 1909, and Together With His Brother John (Who Arrived in 1910) Opened Their First Business - A Minneapolis Fruit Stand in 1914. the Original Peter's Grill First Opened Its Doors To Customers On 9th Street and Marquette Avenue As A Sit-Down Restaurant. Under Peter's Command, the Restaurant Earned the Respect of the Community and Became A Regular Dining Destination for Many of Its Customers. Peter Atcas Died in 1976, and Ownership of the Restaurant Was Passed To His Son Ed, Who Continued Maintaining the Tradition and Legacy of the Business.
